So, I always thought it was neat in Japan, and I'm sure they do it in
NYC, DC, and other competent metro systems in the world, when companies
would spend the money to have only their advertisement in an entire
train car. Sometimes even the majority of a train. In any case, in all
the years I've been in Philly, (I guess four isn't that much but
still), I have never seen this happen.
Until
today. As the subway was pulling up at my station I noticed that the
inside was abnormally white. Did they paint it? Did they clean it and I
just didn't realize how dirty that thing was? As it slowed down that
these assumptions were inaccurate. Rather than paint, the entire inside
had been wallpapered. When the doors opened I realized what had
happened. Some company had bought up the car, no, it seemed like the
whole train and plastered their advertisement all over it. You
literally could not see the old walls, even the metallic parts were
covered.
As if it wasn't odd enough, what was being advertised
made me laugh. The wallpaper wasn't a normal white, it was textured...
textured like.. Cottonelle Toilet Paper. However, it wasn't just this
fact that made me laugh, it was the irony that I saw in front of me.
Out of all the things that could be advertised, it was toilet paper
that lined the cars of the shittiest transit system ever, Septa. Can
Septa take a hint?

| So,
I've been watching all these horror movies lately. Right now I am
watching Pumpkinhead II: Bloodwings. Pumpkinhead is one of the best
looking monsters, btw. Otherwise.. it's a pretty crappy movie.
Anyways. Back to the point of this post. A little rant about Friday the 13th.
The movies in this series are so alike, Comcast gave Friday the 13th: Part III the following description: "The killer preys on more youngsters"
That's
it. That's pretty pathetic. What's more, how many times do they kill
Jason? Seriously, they kill him in every movie. But how do they keep
making more? Here's the dialogue I imagine the creators have when
making a new Friday the 13th:
Person One: Let's make a new Friday the 13th movie! Person Two: Oh man, we can't dude. Jason is dead again. Person One: No way! shit... I know! let's come up with a creative new way to revive him! yeah! They do that for every movie!
And
it's the truth. I admit, I have not watched every Friday the 13th, but
really, you seen one, you've seen them all. And I've seen a few which
is more than enough. Heck, two dudes revive him by sticking a metal
pole in him during a thunderstorm so lightening hits it and brings him
back. That's ridiculous. Then I saw Friday the 13th Part VII. The
description:Jason is resurrected by a teen psychic. And it's true. I
just watched it. Just now. What the *)(#*@9048i9Jfklwf
I call shenanigans.
What's more, in Freddy Vs. Jason, Freddy resurrects Jason.
Stop resurrecting the guy!!!!!! D:<

| So... yea. I'm still alive and such. I have a new profile pic, which is kind of kewl, I guess.
Don't have too much to say. I'm pretty angry with comcast and sprint... D:<
Let's see... ummm.........
School is alright. There are classes I like and classes I hate.
Overall, I am learning things, which I do like. Thankfully midterm
stuff is over so I'm not as stressed. Now I can focus on what the hell
is going on with me.
I'm picking up more of a social life again. hurray! Making new friends
and picking up new hobbies/investing more time into ones I already
have. For example: I have picked up salsa dancing. It's so much fun!
I'm also starting to take cooking more seriously. I really want to see
if there's a way for me to take classes of some sort.
What else....
I'm single again. It's been so long I forgot what it felt like. It
feels great. But at the same time... I'm probably really depressed
about it all. Lost, even. Confused? perhaps. For the time being, I'm
just trying to keep myself occupied and do things that I enjoy. I'll
probably face the music eventually.
Oh well. XP

| I should update more... but, I guess I'm just not online as much as I used to be and I really need to be in the mood to update. It's been a wacky summer and there have been some disappointments. Currently I am scrounging for a place to live so I do not have to commute from home. Something will work out.
In other news, my sister's baby is doing well. He isn't too noisy and he's, dare I say, kind of cute. I really hate babies, I really do, but he's okay, I guess.
I've been working at my Dad's company which has been working out pretty well. I should be able to finish the project I am working on sometime next week.
At home I've been doing random stuff... mostly puzzles. I've been trying to spend time with friends, though I haven't been too successful. Soon everyone will be going back to their colleges. And I will too.
Bah, I don't want to go back to school. XP I want to finish with Temple and move on with my life. oh well. :/
I've been thinking about grad school a bit. I haven't actually researched any at all.. I think I need to figure out what field I want to go into first. I think I want to go for business or I want to go to law school. We'll see.
One Step at a Time.
